Excuse my disappointing Japanese writing. I don’t know the language. I just copied “konnichiwa” in Google translate. Yep. But focusing on the more important thing… I went to Japan last month! This was my first time travelling with friends… which was interesting… but mostly fun :) I’ve shared some snippets here and there, a general summary of my trip. It was hard picking the main highlights (because there were so many!), but I think I’ve got a nice collection for you all to look through, otherwise you guys would be scrolling for years haha.

We started off in Tokyo first, staying in a quaint and cosy apartment in Shibuya, not far from the city centre. The first day was mostly spent exploring the city and familiarising ourselves to our home for the next week.
The infamous Shibuya crossing, which gets hectic during night time and peak hours. We got to enjoy this view during lunch at L’occitane Cafe :)
My friends and I looooooveeeee our desserts, so most of our meals consisted of pastries, tarts, ice-cream, waffles etc. We seriously left no dessert untouched.
But of course we couldn’t say no to Japanese favourites and we found this amazing 24/7 ramen place called Ichiran. Holy crap I’m getting hungry as I’m writing this…
This view could not be missed! And we were lucky enough to witness it at sundown at Roppongi Hills. How pretty are these pink hues!
Mori Art Museum was also located in Roppongi Hills and I swear Japanese art is insane. Their minimalism is on point.
Of course… Disneyland. SUCH A FUN DAY. I spent so much money on food and merchandise, but it was TOTALLY worth it. First Disneyland experience was a definite success!
Abundance of sorbets to cool off… it was bloody hot that day. But still worth.
We decided to go to Tolo Cafe & Bakery for brunch one day to try these adorable Totoro cream puffs! And we couldn’t resist the pasta. Tasted so good….
Spent some time in Harajuku landing ourselves with some pretty cheap finds! And crepes. As good as mine looked… the top half was just cream, when I was anticipating ice cream :( Lesson learnt for next time!
Couldn’t pass up Calbee’s chocolate drizzled potato chips with Hokkaido milk soft serve. It was like Maccas fries with soft serve, but next level. SO GOOD.
Sorry that a lot of these photos are just food, but that is seriously what we did mostly on our trip! Part two will be up soon where my Japan adventures continued in Osaka! Stay tuned :)
