I think it’s safe to say that I ended 2015 with some great memories. Last month I was able to spend a short six days in Hong Kong and it was such a great experience! This was my first time visiting Hong Kong (being in HK airport for transit one time sadly doesn’t count – despite how much I loved their airport).

I loved the hustle and bustle of this city and it seemed great in the beginning, but this super high-density living, fast paced and crowded hub is somewhere I cannot imagine myself living in long term. It’s insane over there.
Obviously I couldn’t pass up on the desserts?!

Apart from HK’s congee, their roast goose was BOMB. We had to go for second rounds before we left. Heck yeah. The one pictured below is from a restaurant with a 1 Michelin star rating.

One of my highlights was definitely overlooking Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui. Again, it was SUPER crowded, but the view and atmosphere made up for it.

Victoria Peak was pretty cool… another highlight was riding in Hong Kong’s oldest mode of transport; peak tram. The fog was pretty stubborn that day, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time!
En route back to Sydney…
Hong Kong International Airport
Surprise! I made a short video with all my compiled footage from the trip! This is really nerve-wracking for me because it’s my first time editing a video and I know I’m a real amateur with this stuff, so it’d be great if you could show it some love… and maybe some advice! Also, I had issues with the music and the original song had some copyright issues, so I had to settle for the current one. Hope you enjoy :)
