OOTD: Faded Dream

I don’t know, but there’s just something about the colour of lavender that makes me weak and impulsive. When I saw this dress, it was like love at first sight. I was lucky enough to grab it before it quickly sold out everywhere!

This is like the epitome of feminine and sophistication. I must admit, I felt pretty classy in this dress haha. And I paired the subtle shade with neutral tones to harmonise with the lilac. When going for this type of shade, keep it light and simple – don’t over do it.

I reckon this outfit is perfect for rocking at a wedding (ceremony and/or reception!)

Hi Jillian,

I love your look here. I have a company evening event coming up in a week’s time and I’m going with similar look! I love this simple and elegant look. One thing that worries me is though, I’ve never done make up myself! And it’s so difficult to find a make up artist who would do a simple look like in this post (most of them are interested in wedding related events only).

Do you know any make up artist who could come out to Sydney CBD on week day evening (mine is Tuesday 13th Oct) for a simple make up and hair? Otherwise, I would really appreciate a tip on simple, natural make up like your look for someone who’s never done make up herself!!

Thank you!!
