Hi guys,

So I’ve noticed that the food section of the blog is lacking TERRIBLY in content, so I’ve decided to attend to this issue right now. In my uni holidays, I went on a few food adventures and my first one was at The Paramount Coffee Project located in Surry Hills. The ambience is really lovely there with a lot of natural, open light, and friendly staff. I’m just kicking myself for not taking photos of the interior :( Their menu sounded great all round and there was a large variety of dishes to choose from, which made our decision of what to eat really difficult.

For drinks, I ordered a hot brew of Pheonix Oolong tea ($4.50), which is one of my favourite to drink in the Winter time, however, was slightly disappointed when it was hot enough, therefore, it wasn’t brewed properly. Still tasted nice though!

Our main dishes consisted of Fried Chicken Waffle with Japanese Curry and the all famous Crumbed Eggs of Toast with mustard braised hock and kale, which was DIVINE. Actually, both dishes were enjoyable and tastes great! If I could change anything, it would be to bring up the spiciness of the curry, because it was extremely mild. Overall, I would definitely go back to this place and try other things on their menu.
