A White Christmas: US & Canada

January 27, 2018

I had myself a white Christmas this year. It was spent up in the mountains in Whistler, Canada and if you know me, you know that I am NOT a winter person, and it was pretty damn cold a lot of the times, but I really don’t think I would’ve had it any other way.

I’ve been back for a couple weeks now and I finally got around to going through my photos from my trip and curating them in this post – as a way for me to look back on and also as a way to share my time away with you guys. I visited six different cities in the space of three and a half weeks; Minneapolis, Vancouver (and Whistler), Whitehorse, Chicago, and finally ended on a warmer note in Orlando and Miami. Here are some of my highlights from the trip…

In terms of getting around, it’s easiest to just get a Ventra travel card and make use of their train system. Otherwise, there’s always Lyft and Uber. There’s also one specific to Chicago, NYC & Washington, called Via (ride-sharing company) which I used quite a lot as there are discount codes for first-time users.

Thank you Whistler for making my White Christmas dreams come true. Until next time Northern America!

Jillian.
