March Wish List

For someone who prefers the warmer months, I was surprised when I told myself that I was ready for Winter and that I was starting to get over Summer. We’ve had a pretty warm first month of Autumn in Sydney so far, and to be honest, all I felt like doing was get into some nice cosy layers. I think I’m just ready for some fresh new clothes…. something a little different… As the cooler seasons start to kick in, I’m eager to get into chelsea boots and warm lapel coats as well as some pretty knits :) However, I am not eager for those early morning starts, having to wake up and get ready in the cold…

Here are some items I’ve been lusting over for this Autumn:March 2015

OOTD: Bloom

C15A1211Loving the Spring vibes that has been going on lately… it’s making me even more excited for Summer and everything that comes along with it – i.e. ice cream, Christmas, beach days :) I think this OOTD perfectly expresses idea of warmer weather; that is, more skin, floral printed shorts, hats, and beautiful purple Wisteria blooms.

If you want to dress this sort of outfit down, I would pair the shorts with a loose camisole and simple but classic sandals. Or, if you want to dress this up for a nice dinner or gathering, then a statement necklace is suitable with a pair of heels. Don’t be afraid to try out new things – you never know what you end up liking in the end… just be yourself :)

OOTD: Spring Street Fashion

Ok, so I’m not a boho type of girl. Nor am I grungey in any sense of the word. But throw in a fedora, and some boots, and I no longer know what to call my usual ‘classic’ look haha :)Continue reading

One thing is for sure, at the end of the day, whatever I put together in a look, has to always have a line of feminine running through it, and I couldn’t help but show that through, by wearing this gorgeous lace crochet top that I found from TopShop :)

Spring is definitely well on its way down under in Sydney! Despite the look of the wall we photographed this ensemble at, the air is getting warmer, and I am sure enjoying the extra sunshine! Til next time peeps!
